Emmerson Troop focuses on mid-century design and offers a selection of iconic pieces by profound designers for the discerning collector. We carry an eclectic blend of vintage furniture and lighting, complemented with new designs created by William Emmerson and the artists represented at the gallery. Amidst the amazing pieces on display are rare or unusual decorative items, glass, and small items perfect for gift giving.

Owner William Emmerson divides his time between hand selecting furniture and lighting from around the globe for Emmerson Troop, designing commercial and residential interiors, and creating his own furniture. Born in London, England, Emmerson moved to Los Angeles over a decade after graduating from Polytech where he studied design, wood and metal work. Since opening his storefront in 1997, he has focused his efforts on both interior design and renovation completing more than a dozen notable projects including his own Robert Byrd house and most recently, an apartment in the landmark 1920’s El Royale building.

Emmerson is currently presenting two furniture lines: Ab Ovo, an organic-inspired indoor/outdoor collection and FLATBAR, a collection dedicated to the perpendicular properties that dominate modern life. Both collections are available exclusively at Emmerson Troop.
